My Favorite Minimalist Jewelry

When it comes to accessories, there are SO many options. I’ve always been a minimalist when it comes to my jewelry. From a young age, I have been a jewelry lover. I think it’s because jewelry reminds me of my mother. She always had on her long gold necklace with a pendant, her simple wedding band, and dainty earrings. As I continue to find my own minimalist style, jewelry has become a huge part of it. I wanted to highlight three of my favorite minimalist jewelry designers. I’ve found them all through social media and can’t wait to share their simple beauty with you. What these artists have in common is: they have a story, their jewelry is timeless, and they are wonderful people.

1. Yara Khuri Designs. I love Instagram because it is a platform with a limitless potential to create relationships. I met Yara Khuri through social media. As soon as I saw her jewelry, I was in love. Her pieces are unique, vibrant, handmade, and gorgeous. Here’s her story: When she was a child, she was very passionate about arts and crafts. Through the years she tried her hand at painting, coloring, weaving, and all kinds of DIY projects. Recently, she became fascinated with jewelry making. So, here she is with a small jewelry business (and with some home decor too!). She is a one woman show. All of her creations are made entirely by hand in her home studio in Seattle, WA. She creates polymer clay jewelry full of patterns and colors because they are the things that make her feel happy. She wants her products to be fun, colorful, playful, and perfect for any modern woman. I fell in love with her designs because they immediately sparked joy. The colors she puts together can easily dress up any outfit. Her jewelry fits right into my minimalist style because I can grab a pair and spice up any neutral outfit I put together. An extra, extra, extra thank you goes to Yara for becoming a friend and supporter and my first collaboration. Check out her beautiful shop here.

2. Natalie Borton. I discovered Natalie Borton on Instagram thanks to a friend a little less than a year ago. Since then, I’ve accumulated 4 of her beautiful pieces. Here’s why I love her: She is so down to earth while being open about motherhood, eating disorders, and body positivity. Her weekly style sessions are amazing because she wears items that are wearable for all occasions while celebrating the female body. She designs jewelry to be minimalist and timeless while being versatile enough to wear everyday (and she wears her own handmade items in her style sessions too). She makes her jewelry by hand in her humble abode in San Diego and she gives back a portion of her profits to NEDA (National Eating Disorders Association). I used to think I could only wear silver until I discovered her gold jewelry. Every piece I own from her is gold! Her pieces change every week and she releases limited editions and quantities of her jewelry. Be sure to check out her shop here.

3. Pip & Petal. I also found this jewelry maker on Instagram. The creators of Pip & Petal are a husband and wife team (how awesome is that!). Their motto is to believe in goodness, hard work, grit, and most of all love. Their jewelry is handmade and assembled one at a time. Each item is unique and inspired by both beauty and passion. They create jewelry with meaning: pieces that remind you of your wedding day, the birth of your child, or any moment that leaves a lasting impression on your heart. I love their pieces because they are dainty, elegant, and beautiful. Seen below is the Flowers of the Month Collection. Each necklace comes in either sterling silver, 14k gold fill, or 14k rose gold fill. The necklaces also have a customizable length at 16 inches, 18 inches, and 20 inches. I have my eye on the June Rose Necklace because I absolutely love roses and have planted so many in my own backyard. For me, gardening reminds me of my mother and it will be nice to feel like she’s a little closer to me with one of these necklaces. Check out more of Pip & Petal’s designs here.

I hope you enjoyed my round up of incredible jewelry designers. Don’t forget to follow them on Instagram. And as always, be intentional about your purchases and do something good today by shopping one of these small businesses for your new favorite piece of minimalist jewelry.
